About Us

The 61 Drive In Theatre is located five miles south of Maquoketa, Iowa. The 61 Drive In opened in 1972 and countless movies have been shown up that big screen under the stars and provided priceless memories to all families!

The 61 Drive In is one of only four remaining drive in theatres in the state of Iowa; one of only 318 drive in theatres across the United States of America! The 61 Drive prides itself of being family and budget friendly and offers many fun and free pre-movie activities for the entire family to enjoy! (Swing Set, Whiffle Ball, Sandbox, Tether Ball, Basketball, Volleyball, Children’s Train Rides)

The 61 Drive In has a full service concession stand including not only our famously delicious hot fresh popcorn and Coca Cola products, but also services a full menu including hot dogs, brats, burgers, pretzels, BBQ pork, tacos and macaroni and cheese!


The Voy 3 Theatres is located right in the heart of downtown Maquoketa on Main Street. The Voy 3 opened in 1973 as one auditorium and owner, Dennis Voy, expanded to the three auditoriums we have today.

The Voy 3 is one of the few independently owned and operated movie theatres across the state of Iowa and the only one in Jackson
County! The Voy 3 offers a family and budget friendly movie experience with a welcoming atmosphere. The Voy 3 concession stand offers our famously delicious hot fresh popcorn, many sweet candy selections and Coca Cola products.

The Voy 3 offers shows on Friday/Saturday/Sunday as well as a bargain priced show on Wednesday evenings! Sensory friendly movies
