Job Description
The Chief Information Officer reports to the Chief Financial Officer and serves as a member of the Chancellor’s Senior Leadership Team. In this capacity, the Chief Information Officer contributes to institution-wide planning, policy development, risk management, resource allocation, operational modernization, and strategic decision-making to ensure alignment between technology priorities and institutional goals.
This position is on-site at the District office in Davenport, IA.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Responsibilities:
The Chief Information Officer provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for Eastern Iowa Community College’s (EICC) information technology services, systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, artificial intelligence initiatives, and digital transformation efforts. The Chief Information Officer is responsible for establishing the college’s long-term technology vision, leading institutional technology governance, and ensuring that technology investments, policies, and services support EICC’s mission, advance student success, strengthen operational effectiveness, and enable responsible innovation across the institution.
