OUR 21ST ANNUAL TIMBER CITY ADVENTURE RACE HAS BEEN POSTPONED. Our Timber City Adventure Race Committee has been monitoring the ongoing situation with COVID-19, and the guidance provided by the CDC, Iowa Dept of Public Health, and our City and County health officials. It was a difficult decision to make, but at this time, we do not feel it is responsible to move forward and put the safety of our participants, volunteers, and residents of our community at risk. We have decided to postpone our 21st Timber City Adventure Race until we are able to better ensure that we can hold the event safely. Please continue to watch for updates here and on RunMaq.com, and we thank you for your continued support and participation.

Registration opens at 7 AM at Canton Canoe Access across from the HOP. Race starts at 7:30 AM.  The Hop at Canton located at 14966 4th Ave, Monmouth, IA 52309. Recreation class starts first.
You can register the day of the race as well.

Race ends on Main Street in front of the Chamber Office, located at 124 S. Main Street, Maquoketa, IA 52060. You must provide your own equipment (bike, helmets, paddles [double bladed are allowed], life jackets, canoe, etc.) If canoe/kayak, life jacket and paddles are needed, for an extra $35 Maquoketa River Rentals will provide them including drop off & pick up.  Register online ASAP as canoe rental is limited.
