Join Jackson County Conservation Naturalist, Tony Vorwald and Iowa Poet Laureate, Debra Marquart on a spring ephemerals (wildflower) walk through Prairie Creek Recreation Area, 1215 east Summit St. Maquoketa IA.
We will meet at the Prairie Creek Pavilion. We will hike and look for spring wildflowers throughout the park led by naturalist Tony Vorwald. The wildflower walk will be followed by a generative creative writing workshop, led by Debra Marquart, at the Hurstville Interpretive Center, 18670 63rd St,. Maquoketa IA. Register 48 hours in advance. Please bring a sack lunch, and dress for the weather.
