The hike models the real solar system on a much smaller scale, for every 3 feet you walk, it represents 3,600,000 miles! The trail is a little over a mile long, starts on the south side of the cul-du-sac by the pavilion, 1215 E. Summit St., Maquoketa. The Jackson County Conservation sponsored this event.
