DESCRIPTION:Eastern Iowa Artists Invited to Inaugural Gathering May 20th from 6:30 - 9:00 PM at Maquoketa Art Experience\, 124 S. Main St.\n\n\n\nIn an effort to network\, socialize\, and share ideas\, the Eastern Iowa Art Society is being formed. The Eastern Iowa Art Society is a burgeoning cooperative group interested in gathering and promoting the artistic talent in the Eastern Iowa region from the Quad Cities to Dubuque and from Anamosa to Bellevue. This initial gathering is hosted by the Maquoketa Art Experience. Enjoy an evening of wine\, light appetizers and mingling with artists from the area.\n\n\n\nA brief meeting will follow to share ideas on forming future gatherings to promote networking\, resource sharing\, collaborating\, learning and mentoring. \n\n\n\nThis event is in collaboration with Quad Cities Arts and Bellevue Arts Council.
