DESCRIPTION:The Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce\, Jackson County Economic Alliance\, The City of Maquoketa\, Heritage Works\, and ECIA Would like to invite you to a Downtown Walking tour on Thursday\, March 30th starting at 5:00PM.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will meet at the Maquoketa Art Experience/Chamber building and then depending on the size of the group\, split and head to Joshua Reicks for a tour of his upper story apartment renovation\, Sue Mayberry's complete renovation of her building (fa ade and interior)\, and along the way of this tour we will point out the facades that have participated in the City's fa ade grant program.\n\nAt approximately 6pm we will reconvene in the Maquoketa Art Experience/Chamber building for an update on the Downtown Historic District and the impact it could have on rehabilitation projects\, discussion on the potential of a CDBG Fa ade program\, and a highlight of the City incentives that could be used in conjunction with the CDBG Fa ade program.
