DESCRIPTION:Enjoy coffee\, tea\, treats\, and conversation about conservation. Each month features a different topic. Following the presentation we'll have an opportunity for discussion and social time. Tuesday\, February 6 at 9:00 AM\, Bruce Fisher with the Jackson County Energy District will discuss renewable energy and electric cars. Thursday\, March 7 at 9:00 AM\, Mike Griffin\, retired Iowa DNR Mississippi River Wildlife Biologist\, will share about all things related to the Mighty Mississippi   history\, wildlife\, conservation issues\, and more. Bring your questions about the Mississippi River! Programs are free and geared for adults. Freewill donation for refreshments is welcome. Registration is required. The Hurstville Interpretive Center is located 1 mile north of Maquoketa on Highway 61.
