DESCRIPTION:The Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a "Candidates Forum" on Monday\, October 23\, 2017\, at 7:00 p.m.\, in the Council Chambers at the Maquoketa City Hall.  The forum will be broadcast live on the Local Access\, Channel 18.\n\n\n\nThe following candidates are running for the following positions:\n\nMayor Candidates:  Don Schwenker\n\nCouncil At Large:  Josh Collister & Erica Barker\n\nWard 2:          Jessica Kean\n\nWard 4:          Richard E. Stimmel & Jacob Baker\n\nWard 5:          Mark Lyon & Jason James\n\n\n\n            The candidates will be given an opportunity for a 3 minute opening statement.  Questions that are submitted prior to the Forum will be screened.  After questions are complete\, each candidate will be given an opportunity for a 2 minute summation. \n\n\n\nWe will have a moderator\, timer and members of the Chamber Board of Directors will screen questions.  Questions must be submitted 4 days prior to the Chamber of Commerce\, via email (info@maquoketachamber.com)\, or dropped off to 124 S. Main St.\, Suite 2\, Maquoketa\, IA 52060 by  4:00pm\, Thursday\, October 19th. \n\n\n\nThis forum is provided as a public service.
