DESCRIPTION:Art in the Park\n\nWednesdays - June 29\, July 6\, 13 and 20\n\n\n\nThe community is invited to get creative this summer at Art i the Park at the Green Space on Maquoketa's Main Street. Patterned after last year's Creative Free Fun\, this event is set for 5pm-7pm four consecutive Wednesdays. Free food will be provided.\n\n\n\nThe impetus behind event is socialization celebrating community and creativity. The events are open to people of all ages and will feature free make-and-take crafts.\n\n\n\nLast year\, people did such activities as making origami cats or dogs\, painting a handprint on tile\, and painting a biodegradable flower pot. \n\n\n\nArt in the Park is sponsored by Maquoketa State Bank\, Community Partnerships for Protecting Children and the and the Maquoketa Art Experience.
